Travel experiential marketing reaches new heights with True Italian Experience

A whole new platform dedicated to the themes of travel and experience has just landed on the market. Experiential marketing is in fact a major focus in the global hospitality landscape, which is giving rise to new dedicated realities. Among these, on the Italian territory we find True Italian Experience, dedicated, needless to say, to those who want to discover the essence of this land through the travel experience. These are journeys specifically designed for every need and request, channeled into a precise virtuous system. The digital platform of the project acts as an aggregator for the Italian tourism industry, showing a varied proposal of experiences defined by authenticity, sustainability and inclusivity. In addition to the latter mentioned, we also find other keywords: originality and exclusively designed. Exclusivity is, as a matter of fact, a trait of experiential marketing that True Italian Experience does not fail to do.

But not only that. True Italian Experience is also a creative hub for the production and distribution of editorial content. Therefore, in addition to the organization of individual experiences and highly structured packages, both for leisure, business or “bleisure”, True Italian Experience is also concerned with knowledge resources about the Italian travel landscape thanks to a solid multi-channel distribution network and international partners.

Within this creative hub we also find the True Italian Experience Observatory, a permanent research center on the latest trends in tourism and travel flows, directed to and from Italy. The technology here applied is the so-called WOSM, functional to the monitoring, reading and analysis of over 25 million sources in 182 different countries. This guarantees travelers an up-to-date and personalized experience based on each customer’s trends, habits and passions. Among the experiences offered, there are the culinary ones, with cooking shows, classes and tastings, as well as the explorative ones, aimed at the discovery of hidden locations and breathtaking sights. In many cases they are not digitized places, and therefore difficult to find by inexperienced tourists. Thus, True Italian Experience allows them to finally reach a new degree of visibility.

Among the examples of itineraries, we can mention the Cinque Terre one, in Liguria, aimed at exploring the picturesque coastal villages that draw this strip of land between sea and mountains. To name another one, for lovers of aquatic nature and animals, there is the opportunity to observe dolphins and monitor the activities of the Gulf of Taranto aboard a vessel for scientific research, as a real expedition team member. Or, again, a new Venice is what True Italian Experience allows you to discover aboard a vintage motor boat to its lagoon islands, far from the common mainstream itineraries.

To support the project there are the train company Trenitalia, Busitalia, part of the Passenger Hub of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group and FS Foundation. The collaboration with Trenitalia is functional to the promotion and presentation of travel experiences of different forms, from the historic trains of the FS Foundation, with original locomotives of the thirties and fifties running on timeless tracks, to the vanguards of locomotion technology.
