Access is also provided to the basement level, which offers a fitness zone with a patio and a sauna, and the internal courtyard, leading directly to the solarium with a swimming pool placed at level +1. This secluded space, featuring natural elements like plants, wood, water and stone, becomes a private oasis behind the main building. 

From here it is easy to see the new overhanging terraces set into the system of pergolas and sunscreens that set the rhythm of the inner façade, culminating in the attic: it too has been recovered for use, with the aim of creating two more apartments with ‘pocket’ terraces, offering better lighting. Light, in fact, is another key factor in the project by De Ponte Studio Architects, which balances theatrical and functioning lighting to provide high performance while clearly defining every architectural feature.
